A Taste of the Wild Side.
Exotic tastes, enriched with flavor.
Walt Disney World is the place to go for a foodie, and it has some of the best restaurants in the world! Each park has its share of Quick Service restaurants, Table Service restaurants, and Snack places.
A Quick Service restaurant is where you order food and pick it up at the window, and it will be an entire meal. This will be a seat yourself, and a reservation is not required. Think of Quick Service like a fast food restaurant or cafe but immensely better quality.
Table Service is when you make a reservation, are seated by a hostess, and you are served by a waiter. Most of these require advanced dining reservations, but there is always a chance at getting a walk up reservation.
Snack places are more like a grab and go or a quick service without a full meal, but a lot of them will keep you full until the next meal time!

My Favorites
Africa
There are plenty of options for cool cocktails in Africa, so don’t cheap out on those! Harambe Market is a great option for lunch, and the bowls are filling and shareable. Totchos are a big deal at Disney, and Kusafiri has great options! I am partial to Tamu Tamu because of the breakfast options, and Tusker House is one of the most fun character dining experiences on property! Plus, the variety of food at Tusker House is perfect for anyone.

Asia
Most of these booths have specialty drinks (with or without alcohol), and this can be refreshing, especially since you do so much walking at Animal Kingdom because of the park size. Yak & Yeti is an amazing option if you like African spices, but I found the food to be tasty, but the spice to be too much. If you are spicy, get in here and try it out!

DinoLand USA
If you just want to grab a bite while you wait for the kids to get worn out in the Boneyard, then grab one here, but otherwise, there is nothing particularly special about the options in DinoLand USA.

Discovery Island
Tiffin’s has a famous bread service that cannot be missed, and you can also get it at Nomad Lounge! Most of the meals at either one of these are going to hit the spot quite nicely! Creature Comforts has that comfort of Starbucks some people need, and Eight Spoon Cafe has some options, like the jelly donut, that you may not ever see anywhere else. Flame Tree Barbecue is BBQ done perfectly with options of entree, and the pizza at Pizzafari is actually quite tasty! Do not forget about the street taco options at The Smiling Crocodile!

Do not stop in here unless your kids just want to go and will not take no for an answer. There are plenty of food options here, but this restaurant exists outside of the magic of Disney, so experience the authenticity of Animal Kingdom food, and experience the Rainforest Café in a less magical city elsewhere! Just my advice.

Pandora - The World of Avatar
These are some interesting presentations, but the flavors are good. You really will feel like you are eating food from Pandora, but it is really just normal food all dressed up. The Night Blosson is the drink everyone raves over, and it is quite tasty!
